In the 1920's or also known as "The Roaring twenties" or "The Jazz Age" advertisement had changed by a lot. Many of the advertisements included women in it , convincing them to buy there product by saying that it will make them look pretty or help them get a man. The advertisement that did this was mostly beauty products. Some of the advertisements even said that if you smoked cigarettes you will be popular, but did not include information about what was inside of the product.
Before the 1920's advertisements did not try to convince people that wanted to look more beautiful. Instead, they included statistics about the product and what research said. They wanted people to know that there product will make their teeth, skin, or hair etc. healthier than it already is.
